As part of our strategic plan to supercharge our growth and further expand our global client base, we have today appointed Domenico Mazzola as our Director of Sales. Domenico joins us with over fifteen years of experience in sales, business development, commercial strategy and software development, eight years of which were spent within the gaming industry.
We caught up with Domenico to find out a bit more about him, his experience, view for the future and what he is most excited about in joining Flows.
Tell us a bit about your Commercial/sale background
I switched from being a Software developer to a Sales professional some years ago. I always wanted to move more to the business side. Even back when I was writing lines of code I spent all those years learning and understanding how I could help my potential customers by improving the products I represented. And this is still my attitude today. In my opinion It’s essential to always want to learn and adjust to new times, and the challenges society brings us.
Why Flows, what attracted you to Flows as a company?
What attracted me to Flows was the product and its capabilities. On its launch back at iGaming Next in Valletta, I immediately saw the incredible potential that could be applicable in the iGaming industry and outside of it and how the platform could really help its customers help resolve some key pain points that we all tackle in our daily working lives..
What excited you the most about your new role at Flows?
I’m a builder. I like to work for companies where I can shape and construct my vision from zero. I did it in the past during my previous experiences, and I’m excited to do it again here at Flows.
What do you think will be the biggest challenge for your new role and how do you plan to overcome this?
Flows is a new product with very few competitors in the market. This represents an advantage for certain aspects but a challenge for other ones. My effort will be placed on making Flows as understandable as possible. We must find creative ways to stand out from the crowd to gain visibility among all the top stakeholders in our industry.
What advice would you give to operators and suppliers about the importance and benefits of no-code technology today?
We all know about the struggle in finding good tech people around, especially with iGaming experience. Empowering your business using a visual tool instead of adding technical human resources is an excellent benefit in terms of money saved and in terms of cutting time to market.
What should businesses be looking for when implementing a platform like Flows, what are the most important aspects?
Flows potential is limitless. The things that can be achieved with the tool are incredible, and we have just started. As I mentioned, the main essential aspects are the possibility of cutting costs in hiring developers and speeding up your time to market.
In your opinion, what are the most important stages of the onboarding process for new partners?
Every partner has its peculiarities, so we must ensure that the service level matches and potentially surpasses the expectations by adapting our process to their needs. The partner must feel supported in every process stage, from the beginning at onboarding to when they are live with the solution.
What key markets will be on your commercial/sales road map? Where do you see Flows being most successful?
Europe is the closest and fastest market we can expand into. I will also focus on expanding and growing our footprint in the US. Ultimately my key objective is to help place Flows within a top position in our industry and I truly believe it also has huge potential for further partnerships outside our industry….
