Flow of the week – Gamification with random Cash Drops

Welcome to another edition of “Flow of the Week”! Today, we’re diving into the exciting world of gamification, specifically focusing on creating cash drops for game providers and operators. As many of you might know, cash drops are dynamic gamification tools that randomly award cash and/or bonus prizes to players within their active in-game sessions during a specified time frame. The thrill of unexpected rewards can significantly enhance player engagement and retention.

Why Cash Drops?

Cash drops have emerged as a popular gamification tool in the gaming industry. They introduce an element of surprise and excitement, as players can receive unexpected rewards while they are actively playing. This not only enhances the gaming experience but also encourages longer play sessions and increases player loyalty.

The challenge:

In the rapidly evolving gaming landscape, retaining players and ensuring their continued engagement is paramount. Gamification tools, like cash drops, have proven effective in achieving this. However, the challenge lies in implementing such features. How can game providers and operators introduce cash drops without getting entangled in complex coding or allocating vast development resources?

The solution: How Flows simplifies the process

Flows, iGaming’s leading no-code integration and automation platform, emerges as the knight in shining armour.

  1. Integration Made Easy
With Flows, game providers can effortlessly orchestrate all their data under a single umbrella. By securely integrating any data source, Flows allows operators to craft features like cash drops sans any coding seamlessly.
  2. Marketplace Connectivity
Flows isn’t just about integration; it’s about expansion. By connecting with a diverse marketplace encompassing tools such as seamlessly connecting to the platform bonus engine, Google Sheets for reporting, CRM tools, Chat GPT, Slack, Jira, and beyond, operators can enhance the cash drop experience, making it more interactive and engaging.
  3. Click and Deliver
Once the data is channelled into Flows and the necessary tools from the marketplace are connected, operators can design and roll out workflows, including cash drops, with a mere click. This ensures that the gamification tools are not just potent but also prompt.

Why Flows?

  • Cost efficiency: Bypass the need for lengthy development cycles and specialized developers.
  • Accelerated deployment: Introduce your cash drop feature to the market in record time.
  • Real-time responses: Craft workflows that respond instantaneously to in-game events, ensuring that cash drops are timely and relevant.
  • Versatile integration: Seamlessly merge with your existing systems, ensuring a smooth cash drop implementation.

So, how do you Flow it?

Can I set drop amounts and budget with Flows?

Sure you can, here in the example above, we are starting the Flow by saving the daily/weekly/monthly budget that is later used in the same Flow to ensure that the drops stop if the max budget has been reached. After setting the budget, the Flow starts by checking the variables to filter on; such as games, spin value and/or player tags/level.

We then get the values already paid out to check against if the Flow should continue with the drop or not. If yes – green path follows that assigns a random number to the player spin and the drop wins. You can set as many different drop wins as you want and you choose the odds of winning by how many numbers you randomize between. You can have different odds for different wins. In our example the spin and the wins all get a random number between 0 and 20:

How do I Flow the payout, messaging and reporting?

We continue our example Flow by Checking if the player’s assigned spin number matches any of the win numbers, and if so, the Flow will immediately pay out the drop win, send a message to the player and store the win information.

You can also take your reporting a step further by using the Google Sheets app and adding a row for every winner. This sheet can then be shared with the operator, or your CRM team etc. You can also add calculations based on your data, such as percentage of budget reached, and send that together with the win information directly to your CRM team in a monitoring channel.

As always, with Flows, we empower you to put your ideas into action without the need to code!
